What is Renaissance?

Renaissance is recognition for all the hard work you do at Canyon! You receive a sticker on your ID card, which signifies the your “level” of Renaissance reward. Along with the sticker, you are eligible for other rewards, such as free merchandise from local vendors, Renaissance pins and Canyon gifts!

Did I qualify for Renaissance?

Qualification for Renaissance is based on three areas—Academics, Attendance, and Behavior. Your grades are the first factor, but many people lose out on Renaissance because of problems with attendance and behavior!

GOLD LEVEL—3.5 to 4.0 Quarter GPA

SILVER LEVEL—3.0 to 3.49 Quarter GPA

WHITE LEVEL—Improve your GPA by .3 (available only

during the current school year—does not “roll over”)

Make Sure You Have:

NO behavioral referrals

NO “F’ grades or “U” citizenship marks

NO more than 3 unexcused tardies

NO unexcused absences

HOW DO I PICK UP MY REWARDS?

Bring your ID card at lunch to pick up your rewards. Listen to the bulletin to find out which room you should go to.
